BATTLEFIELD: BENEFIT FOR PLANNED PARENTHOOD

The “Battlefield” exhibit was presented by Femaninjas, Brooklyn-based artists Shana Siegel and Megan Watters and producer Michelle Bruenn, in collaboration with a small street team of women who have come together to use art to help one another stand strong, get their voices heard, and fight for their rights. All proceeds from this event were donated to the Planned Parenthood NYC Votes.

This event featured affordable artwork priced between $25 and $200 by female-identifying artists from Brooklyn and beyond. The event also featured an art battle in which three teams live painted two pieces of artwork.This event also offered face painting, hair braiding, and an awesome photo booth.
